Laura Tunbridge (UK) is an associate professor of music at the University of Oxford, where she is also Henfrey Fellow and Tutor in Music at St. Catherine’s College. She gained her PhD in musicology from Princeton University in 2002, after which she taught at the Universities of Reading and Manchester. Tunbridge was a visiting scholar at Columbia University, New York (2010) and at the Max Planck Institute, Berlin (2011), and was the editor of the Journal of the Royal Musical Association (until 2017). Her publications include Schumann’s Late Style (2007), The Song Cycle (2010), and a forthcoming monograph on Lieder singers in New York and London between the World Wars.
