Prof. Serhat ASLAN, DDS, PhD
Serhat Aslan is a graduate of Ege University, School of Dentistry where he received his DDS degree. He attended Periodontology Program of Graduate Study offered by Institute of Health Sciences at Ege University and awarded a PhD degree at Periodontics. He maintains a private practice limited to periodontics, fixed prosthodontics and implants with focus on microsurgery, hard and soft tissue reconstruction and minimally invasive surgery.
Serhat Aslan is a Professor in the Department of Biomedical, Surgical and Dental Sciences, University of Milan, Italy and in the Department of Oral Health Sciences, Periodontology and Oral Microbiology, KU Leuven, Belgium. He is an Invited Professor in Post-graduate Program in Periodontology and Implantology, University of Porto, Portugal.
Currently, he is the Executive Board Member and General Secretary of Turkish Society of Periodontology. Also, he is a member and delegate of European Federation of Periodontology (EFP), member of Italian Society of Periodontology and Implantology (SIdP), Turkish Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and honorary member of Croatian Academy of Aesthetic Dental Medicine. Prof. Aslan is intensely involved in mono/multi-center clinical research and development in periodontology, with special emphasis to plastic-periodontal surgery, guided bone/tissue regeneration and esthetic implant therapy.
Prof. Evanthia Lalla
Evanthia Lalla is a tenured professor at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City. Prof. Lalla received dental degrees from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and from Columbia University. She completed her specialty training and a Master of Science in Periodontics at Columbia, has been a full-time member of its faculty for more than 25 years, and served as the College’s inaugural senior associate dean for faculty development. Prof. Lalla completed the Hedwig van Ameringen executive leadership in academic medicine fellowship and served as president and councilor of the Periodontal Research Group of the International Association for Dental Research. Her research has primarily focused on periodontitis and its link with diabetes and atherosclerosis and has been supported by the US National Institutes of Health, industry, and foundations. She has published in high impact medical and dental journals, lectured internationally, and is the recipient of prestigious awards.

Prof. Panos N. Papapanou
Panos N. Papapanou is Professor of Dental Medicine, at Columbia University, New York, USA. He earned DDS degrees from the University of Athens and Columbia University, a PhD from Göteborg University, and received post-doctoral training in Oral Microbiology at the Forsyth Institute. His research encompasses studies of the epidemiology of periodontal disease, the assessment of microbial and host-derived risk factors, the pathobiology of periodontitis, and its role as a general health stressor. He is the recipient of several international awards, including the Distinguished Scientist Award for Basic Research in Periodontal Disease from the International Association for Dental Research (2017), and the International Research Prize by the Swedish Dental Association (2021). He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Clinical Periodontology. In 2025, he was elected corresponding member of the Academy of Athens. He has published ≈250 original manuscripts and has a h-index of 91with 44,500 citations.
Prof. Lambis Petridis
Professor Lambis (Haralampos) Petridis D.D.S. (Thessaloniki), Cert. Prosthodont (Boston), M.S. (Boston), PhD (Thessaloniki), FHEA (London)
Professor Lambis Petridis qualified from the Dental School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He completed an Advanced Education Programme in Prosthodontics (1997) and acquired a Master of Science degree (1998) at Tufts University, Boston. He completed his postgraduate studies with a PhD degree from Aristotle University (2001).
He currently serves as Professor and Chair of Prosthodontics at UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London, and Honorary Consultant at the Royal ENT and Eastman Dental Hospital. He is also an Associate at Harley Street Oral Reconstruction Centre, where he practices all aspects of dentistry with an emphasis on Restorative, Esthetic and Implant Dentistry.
He has co-authored a number of scientific papers published in international peer-reviewed journals, and has headed several past and current research projects in the field of Prosthodontics, Implants and Esthetic dentistry.
He is a registered Speaker and Fellow for ITI, an Associate Fellow of the Academy of Prosthodontics, a member of the International College of Prosthodontists, the European Prosthodontic Association, the British Society of Prosthetic Dentistry, and an affiliate of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.

Senior Oral Surgeon, Associate Professor, Depatrment of Oral Suregry and Imapltnology, Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Ausra Ramanauskaite is a specialist in periodontology and oral surgery. In 2023 she defended the habilitation and obtained a private docent title at the Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Currently, Ausra Ramanauskaite is working at the oral surgery and implantology department at Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Ausra is a member of a leadership groups of National Osteology Groups Germany, a member of Osteology Foundation Expert Council. She also serves as an advisor for the Editorial Board of European Association for Osseointegration (EAO). Ausra has authored numerous international peer-reviewed publications and is active in the research field of peri-implant pathology, soft- and hard-tissue regeneration.
