Professor Serhat ASLAN, DDS, PhD

Professor Serhat Aslan earned his DDS from the Faculty of Dentistry, Ege University (Türkiye), where he subsequently completed his PhD in Periodontology at the Institute of Health Sciences. He maintains a private practice limited to Periodontology, Fixed Prosthodontics, and Implant Dentistry, with particular expertise in microsurgery, hard and soft tissue regeneration, and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Professor Aslan holds academic appointments at the Department of Biomedical, Surgical and Dental Sciences, University of Milan (Italy), and the Department of Oral Health Sciences – Periodontology and Oral Microbiology, KU Leuven (Belgium). He also serves as Visiting Professor at the University of Porto (Portugal).
He is Secretary General and Executive Board Member of the Turkish Society of Periodontology and an active member of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP). His research focuses on periodontal plastic surgery, guided hard and soft tissue regeneration, and esthetic implant therapy.

Professor Evanthia LALLA, DDS, MS

Professor Evanthia Lalla is Professor of Dental Medicine at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, New York, USA.
She received her dental degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and completed her postgraduate specialty training and Master of Science in Periodontology at Columbia University.
Professor Lalla has served as a full-time faculty member at Columbia University for more than 25 years and was the institution's first Senior Vice Dean for Faculty Development.
She completed the Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership Fellowship in Academic Medicine and has served as President and Councillor of the Periodontal Research Group of the International Association for Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Research (IADR).
Her research explores the relationship between periodontitis and systemic diseases, particularly diabetes mellitus and atherosclerosis. Supported by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), industry, and scientific foundations, her work has been widely published in leading international journals and recognized with numerous prestigious awards.

Professor Jose NART, DDS, PhD

Professor Jose Nart obtained his DDS and PhD from the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC), Barcelona, Spain. He completed his postgraduate training in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at Tufts University, Boston, USA, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
He is currently Professor, Chairman of the Department, and Director of the EFP-accredited Postgraduate Program in Periodontology at UIC Barcelona.
Professor Nart is Past President of the Spanish Society of Periodontology and Osseointegration (SEPA) and is internationally recognized for his contributions to Periodontology and Implant Dentistry.
His academic and clinical interests include contemporary periodontal therapy, implant dentistry, and clinical research. He is actively involved in international education and research initiatives and is a frequent invited speaker at major scientific congresses worldwide.

Professor Panos N. PAPAPANOU, DDS, PhD

Professor Panos N. Papapanou is Professor of Dental Medicine at Columbia University, New York, USA.
He received his DDS from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed his PhD at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, followed by postdoctoral training in Oral Microbiology at the Forsyth Institute.
His research focuses on the epidemiology and pathobiology of periodontal diseases, microbial and host-related risk factors, and the links between periodontal and systemic health.
Professor Papapanou has received numerous international distinctions, including the Distinguished Scientist Award for Basic Research in Periodontal Disease from the International Association for Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Research (IADR) in 2017 and the Swedish Dental Society's International Research Prize in 2021. He served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Clinical Periodontology from April 2021 to March 2026 and, in 2025, was elected a Corresponding Member of the Academy of Athens.
He has authored approximately 250 peer-reviewed scientific publications, with more than 44,500 citations and an h-index of 91.

Professor Lambis PETRIDIS, DDS, MSc, PhD, FHEA

Professor Lambis Petridis is Professor of Prosthodontics at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute, University College London, and Honorary Consultant at the Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals, London.
He graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and completed his specialty training in Prosthodontics and his Master of Science degree at Tufts University, Boston. He was awarded his PhD by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2001.
In parallel with his academic career, he is affiliated with the Harley Street Oral Reconstruction Centre in London, where his clinical practice focuses on restorative, esthetic, and implant dentistry.
His research interests include prosthodontics, implant dentistry, and esthetic rehabilitation. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has participated in numerous research projects in his areas of expertise. Professor Petridis is an ITI Fellow and International Speaker, an Associate Fellow of the Academy of Prosthodontics, and an active member of several international prosthodontic and esthetic dentistry organizations.

Associate Professor Ausra RAMANAUSKAITE, Dr. med. dent., PhD

Associate Professor Ausra Ramanauskaite is Associate Professor and Senior Oral Surgeon at the Department of Oral Surgery and Implantology, Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany.
A specialist in Periodontology and Oral Surgery, she completed her Habilitation at Goethe University in 2023, earning the academic title of Privatdozentin (Priv.-Doz.).
Her clinical and scientific work focuses on implant surgery, peri-implant diseases, and hard and soft tissue regenerative procedures. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and is actively engaged in international research in periodontology and implant dentistry.
Associate Professor Ramanauskaite serves on the leadership team of the National Osteology Groups Germany, is a member of the Expert Council of the Osteology Foundation, and is an Editorial Advisor to the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO).
