Important note: Student registration is only for Batchelor's and Master's students that wish to attend EuroSun 2024. A proof of enrolment for the year 2023/2024 to confirm that the category you registered for is mandatory. Students cannot be Presenting Authors, all presenting authors are required to have a full registration. 

 

EuroSun 2024 Fees Include:

· Catering during the EuroSun 2024 including coffee/tea breaks and buffet lunch from 26 – 30 August 2024. Please note, no lunch available on 26 August as conference programme will start during the afternoon of that day.

For authors:

· Inclusion of your abstract on conference platform, available to registered participants before the conference

· Inclusion of your abstract in the EuroSun 2024 digital program

· Admission to all plenary, technical and social events (except conference dinner) during EuroSun 2024

· Pdf version of your presentation (available for oral presenters only and granted permission by you) on conference platform, available to registered participants after the conference

· Pdf version of your poster (available for poster authors only and granted permission by you) on conference platform, available to registered participants after the conference

· Inclusion of your full paper (pre-review version) on conference platform, available to registered participants before and after the conference · Publication fee of your completed paper in the ISES Conference Proceedings database (disclaimer: submitted full papers will be peer-reviewed and will only be published in proceedings if accepted by reviewers)

Technical tour 1: With starting point the Eurosun Conference Venue, pay a visit to the Proteas Solar Research Facility, and explore groundbreaking research. Following the visit, enjoy a  delightful traditional Cypriot Mediterranean lunch at Agios Georgios Alamanou Restaurant before concluding the tour back at the conference venue around 14:00-15:00 p.m.

Technical tour 2: With starting point the Eurosun Conference Venue, pay a visit to the Proteas Solar Research Facility, and explore groundbreaking research. Following the visit, enjoy a  delightful traditional Cypriot Mediterranean lunch at Agios Georgios Alamanou Restaurant we continue our tour to Foss Research Center in Nicosia*. This tour will end back at the venue around 18:00 p.m. 

*For those interested in staying in Nicosia for a stroll or exploration the last public bus departs from downtown Nicosia at 21:30 p.m. and will be dropping you off directly at the Conference Venue. You can find more info about bus routes here.

PROTEAS (Platform for Research Observation and Technological Applications of Solar Energy) is a cutting-edge infrastructure situated on the southern coast of Cyprus, dedicated to research, development, and testing of concentrated solar power (CSP) and solar seawater desalination technologies. Travelling to Cyprus by Airplane

 

The legal ports of entry into the Republic of Cyprus are the airports of Larnaka (Larnaca) and Pafos (Paphos) and the ports of Larnaka (Larnaca), Lemesos (Limassol), Latsi and Pafos (Paphos), which are situated in the area under the effective control of the Government of the Republic of Cyprus. 

Entry into the territory of the Republic of Cyprus via any other port or airport in which the Government of the Republic does not exercise effective control (Turkish occupied areas) is illegal.


EuroSun 2024 attendees fyling in to Cyprus, make sure to travel to Larnaca or Pafos airport ONLY. The EuroSun 2024 organizers are not responsible if entry to Cyprus should be delayed or denied in case of entry to Cyprus via any other airport.

Cancellation & Alteration Policy
For any cancellation or alteration of your registration, the Professional Congress Organizer (CONVIN S.A) must be notified in writing by e-mail at info_eurosun2024@convin.gr .
Registration cancellations or alterations are subject to the following conditions:

Registration Cancellation
• Until 15 June 2024: full refund will be given less €50 administrative fee
• Until 10 July 2024: a 30% refund will be given less €50 administrative fee
• From 11 July 2024 onwards: No refund granted.

Alterations / Name changes
• Until 15 July 2024: name changes are permitted, upon payment of a € 50 administrative fee.
• From 16 July 2024 onwards: no name changes will be accepted.
• Non-shows at the Congress will be charged the full fee.
• A fixed price of €40 will be charged for the replacement of lost badges during EuroSun 2024 duration.
• All refunds will be processed two (2) month after the closing of the congress; respective bank charges are the responsibility of the delegate.


For Technical Tours 

For any cancellation or alteration of your booked conference dinner, the Professional Congress Organizer (CONVIN S.A) must be notified in writing by e-mail at info_eurosun2024@convin.gr .
Please note that after payment, the Technical Tours are not refundable.
