Compromised teeth in young patients: treat or extract?
23-24 October 2026
Plovdiv | Bulgaria Radisson Hotel
Dear Colleagues & Friends,
We are pleased to invite you to participate to the 4th EAPD Athena Master Class, which will take place on 23–24 October 2026, in Radisson Hotel, Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
This year’s scientific program, titled “Compromised Teeth in Young Patients: Treat or Extract?”, is designed as a high-level educational event aimed at young dentists from across Europe. The program brings together internationally recognized experts in paediatric dentistry and offers a comprehensive blend of lectures and hands-on clinical training.
The first day will feature lectures on key contemporary topics including minimal intervention dentistry, management of molar-incisor hypomineralisation (MIH), behavioural management techniques, and decision-making in restorative versus extraction approaches. Distinguished speakers from leading European institutions will deliver these sessions.
The second day is dedicated to intensive hands-on workshops focused on MIH molar restorations, providing practical training to a selected group of 50 participants. This interactive component ensures direct engagement with advanced clinical techniques and materials.
We look forward to welcoming you and working together to make this event a success.
Yours sincerely,
on behalf of the Organizing Committee
Prof. Sotiria Gizani
