Established on the island of Crete forty years ago , our family business creates unique products in our factory, in Heraklion.

Tote bags, backpacks, hamam/beach towels, tea towels, aprons etc are produced by choosing the best raw materials and using the latest technology and equipment . We weave fabrics-cut them in shape-sew the edges-embroider the final products-pack them and proudly send them all over Greece.

Being the last weaving company in Crete , we feel responsible for the preservation of our culture in looms.

Güralp has been designing and manufacturing revolutionary broadband seismic instrumentation for more than 30 years. Designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom, Güralp analogue and digital instruments record seismic events and signals of all kinds, from teleseismic events occurring on the other side of the planet, to microseismic events such as those induced by human activities, such as hydraulic fracturing.

Applications include local, regional and global earthquake research, early warning systems, volcanology, structural health monitoring, energy exploration and optimisation and induced seismicity monitoring.

STARIDAS GEOGRAPHY Making Maps Pretty is a private company established in 2012. They focus in map design, either paper or digital, and in WebGIS applications. They provide services related to GIS technology and geospatial data and at the same time, they maintain their own map editions. Some of the subjects of their maps include alternative kinds of tourism, such as hiking or geotourism maps, urban and city maps, as well as environmental and cultural maps. Besides map production, they also provide services related to remote sensing and spatial analysis.
