Building on the strong foundations of previous editions, this year’s program has been carefully designed to offer an even richer and more dynamic educational experience. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with key themes of modern Internal Medicine, explore challenging clinical scenarios, and learn directly from experts in the field. A combination of interactive case discussions and practical hands-on workshops will further strengthen essential clinical and decision-making skills.

Beyond the scientific program, ESIM remains committed to cultivating collaboration, camaraderie, and cultural exchange among young internists across Europe. A series of social activities and team-building events will provide excellent opportunities for networking and friendship in the welcoming atmosphere of Alexandroupolis - a city known for its academic vibrancy, multicultural character, and beautiful seaside setting.

We are pleased to announce that the Summer School will accept up to 50 residents from EFIM member countries. Eligible participants should be nearing the completion of their training in Internal Medicine and possess a good understanding of the English language.

Our aim for Summer ESIM 2026 is to offer an inspiring academic environment, promote meaningful dialogue between residents and faculty, and lay the groundwork for lasting professional connections and future scientific collaborations. For this reason, the motto of Summer ESIM 2026 is: “Learn, Connect, Evolve!”
