How to become a candidate to host the European Congress of Bronchoscopy and Interventional Pulmonology (ECBIP) in 2027:

Applicant Details


• Develop a proposal outlining your group’s vision, objectives, and plans for the 2027 congress in 300 words or less.

• Define who will be the congress President and local organizing team, that will work along with the EABIP’s Executive Committee.

Write a short biography for each member (100 words or less each):

• Showcase your experience in event planning and management in 200 words or less.

• Highlight previous successful medical conferences or IP events that you have organized, demonstrating your suitability as a host (supporting documents may be asked)

• State if you (or a local professional contracted agency) have experience in preparing a comprehensive budget that accounts for all necessary expenses (including venue rental, catering, audiovisual equipment, marketing, staff).

• Highlight the strengths and advantages of your city as a host for the congress in 300 words or less.

• Evaluate and propose suitable venues that can accommodate the expected number of participants, with adequate facilities for presentations, exhibitions, and meetings.

• Consider accommodation options, transportation logistics, and accessibility for attendees.

• State in 200 words or less that you have the available time and motivation to fulfil the tasks and responsibilities that your candidacy implies.

• Ensure that the congress will adhere to ethical and medical best practices.
