Details

Description Electronic Oral Health Records (EOHRs) contain individual health information virtually available by healthcare providers over the person’s lifetime. As far as we know, scarce information has been documented regarding EOHRs use for implementation in caries management. In addition to learning how challenges have been addressed around the world, the discussion could be of interest for next caries management EOHRs developments specially focused on its relevance in dental public health systems, policy making, epidemiological surveillance and practice-based research opportunities. Aims Main - To identify challenges and opportunities associated with the use of EOHRs for modern caries management through the experiences from 6 countries. Secondary - To identify collaborative networking opportunities to assess the implementation of - but not restricted to ()- caries management - EOHRs in the practice. Methodology Speakers will talk around a specific question based in their experience regarding how EOHRs have facilitated or not implementation of caries management in their institution (and/or county) into a 15 minutes slot (described below).
