INVITED SESSION 8: Combining Real-World Data and Randomised Clinical Trials

Tracks
PLENARY HALL (Friends of Music))
Wednesday, July 24, 2024
4:00 PM - 5:42 PM
PLENARY HALL (M1 building upper floor)

Details

This session is concerned with methods for the synthesis of diverse sources of evidence. In particular, statistical methods will be presented for combining data from randomized controlled trials and real world evidence. The underlying tools draw from recent advances in Gaussian processes and the Bayesian paradigm. Some applications will be presented, including on health economics.
