• All registration fees are quoted in Euro (€) and taxes are included.
• Payment in any other currency will not be accepted.
• Invoices with an address in the European Union must be provided with a VAT Number. The invoicing address and VAT number can be set up during the registration process.
• Any modification on VAT number or address, requested after the issuing of the invoice, will result in an administrative fee of € 50.
-Existing registrations
If you have already been registered for the ICEGOV 2020, please be informed that your registration will be automatically converted to a virtual one.
• Regarding the balance occurred due to the Virtual - Physical fee difference, you may:
- either request the transfer of the balance to the next year’s physical conference;
- or request a refund, in which case an administrative fee of 50€ will apply and all relevant bank charges will be the responsibility of the delegate.
After September 15, 2020 and without any written notice (or statement through the personalised form provided via the informative email), the remaining balance of your 2020 registration, will be automatically transferred to 2021 Conference.
Any alteration of your registration must be notified in writing by e-mail to registrations-icegov2020@convin.gr and the following policies will apply.
-New Registrations
A confirmation email will be sent to you upon completion of your registration submission. For your registration to be valid and completed, the outstanding amount mentioned should be less or equal to zero.
Payment Details
From September 13th, 2020 onwards: only online credit card payments will be accepted.
Cancellation & Alteration Policy
Any cancellation or alteration of your registration must be notified in writing by e-mail to registrations-icegov2020@convin.gr, and will be subject to the following conditions:
• Until August 20, 2020: full refund will be given less €50 administrative fee
• From August 21, 2020 onwards: No refund granted.
Alterations / Name changes
• Until August 20, 2020: name changes will be charged €20 administrative fee.
• From August 21, 2020 onwards: no name changes will be accepted.
• Virtual Non-attendees at the Virtual Conference will be charged the full fee.
Conference Dinner
If you had booked a conference dinner ticket you may:
• either select to transfer your ticket to the next year’s physical conference
• or you may choose to request a refund for the entire amount
Hospitality Services
Regarding participants who already have a hotel reservation booking, will be notified that their booking will be transferred automatically to the conference 2021 dates or if they decide not to participate will receive a voucher equal to the amount paid (according to the National law for hotel bookings during COVID pandemic) valid for 18 months. This voucher will be claimed from the CONVIN S.A and can be used for future hospitality services booked exclusively via CONVIN S.A.
Miscellaneous
(for existing and new registrations)
By registering as an ICEGOV 2020 virtual attendee, you automatically accept to comply with the Policy regarding the ICEGOV2020 Conference.
All refunds will be processed one (1) month after the closing of the conference and bank charges associated with this will be the responsibility of the delegate.
Liability and Insurance
No right to further claims or waiving of fees will arise should the Organisers be obliged to alter the programming of conference proceedings.
Participants are encouraged to arrange their own insurance for cancellation, travel, loss of personal possessions, accident etc on their own behalf. UNU-EGOV and the Professional Congress Organiser (CONVIN S.A), accept no liability.
In the event of special or unforeseen circumstances beyond their control, the Organisers shall be entitled to cancel or modify the Conference dates. Registered delegates shall not be entitled to compensation for any loss or damage incurred as a consequence of such a cancellation or change.
Data Privacy Statement
The information you supply in the online form is required to process your registration and will be held in the customer data files of the organiser(s).
It may be used for marketing and communication purposes by the UNU-EGOV and the Professional Congress Organiser (CONVIN S.A.) only. You have the absolute right to access, amend and oppose any use of this personal data by writing to registrations-icegov2020@convin.gr
The information you provide to us will remain in the Company's archives, electronically and access will only be allowed to persons under the control of the Company and only on its instructions, in accordance with the applicable legislation.
Your personal data will be maintained by the Company as long as it has not been known to your objection. In any case you retain the rights provided by the applicable law (i.e right to request access your personal data, correction, opposition to the processing of all or some of them, deletion etc.).
